Theart Family

Family shoots are still one of my favorite shoots to do! The Theart Family is a family I’ve known for a number of years and it was a blast doing their shoot. Actually it took us about 3 hours, wondering through the gardens, playing and joking around…  Personally, I loved shooting between the Christmas roses, the lighting was perfect and the scenery magnificent!

Susanna & Emile

This was a wedding with a difference! They had their little girl, Ellie with them during the entire ceremony, putting focus on how close they are as a family. And Ellie was then Christensen after the ceremony. The church was found on the venue, and so cute, small and intimate! Loved it! Having family and friends coming from all over the world made the speeches and the overall day, fun and interesting.

Emile & Susanna

Emile and Susanna came all the way from the UK to get married in sunny SA. Having been in contact via email for so long, I felt very at home with them during this session which was also our first meeting. This house was so incredible. It felt like we were somewhere in Greece or Mexico. I really enjoyed this unique setting and couple and looking forward to their wedding!

Christie & Ezelle

When meeting this couple it was clear as day to see the love and chemistry between them. And their partnership is not complete without Christie’s trusted companion, Boela. Ezelle and Christie’s story is like a fairy tail and that includes their plans after the big day. They are such sweet people and I wish them all the luck, love and happiness in the world!

I accumulated a Graphic Design and Fine Arts background at Stellenbosch University, but didn’t feel satisfied and finished with Cum Laude and an international diploma in Photography. My photography career started off  at studios that produced innovative family portraits. They taught me how to work with people and more importantly, children. Props and pets were also incorporated during these fun, “high energy” sessions. Looking for a change in life, I left South Africa and worked on cruise ships travelling between the Caribbean and Mediterranean. During these four years I learned so much more than I did during my six years of studies. I was even selected to do an […]
